Showgirl

The idea of this project was to decorate a unique showgirl with features, sparkles, and other little things. This shows point in the sparkle designs and texture throughout the whole thing. This shows my strengths in designing and decorating, and there is nothing about this piece that I would like to change. I had lots of fun doing this project with making it 3D, and making a big, fun, creative sculpture. This project was made with ribbon, popsicle sticks, feathers, styrofoam, felt, tape, pom-poms, paper, cardboard, paint, glue, and other little objects. I thought that this piece was hard to get everything to work right and create different things using my imagination and creativity from scratch.

Friends and Foes

This project is about working on colors and how realistic I could make this piece using tempera paints. This piece of artwork shows shape through the cat and the fish, point through the eyes and dots on the fish, and color throughout the whole piece. The strengths that I show in this piece is how I can get the color to be just as I want it to be. In this piece, there is nothing that I would like to change. I had lots of fun doing this project with the paints and the different colors. This project was made with tempra paints. I thought that this piece was difficult to get the colors right, but it wasn't the most difficult piece that I've ever done.

Spring Showers

This project is about how on a typical spring day in the park, there is so much green, so I emphasized how on a scene like this, the green takes over. I used colors in this mostly to show how in a scene like this, the greenery takes over. This picture shows my strengths with colors, and there is nothing I would like to change. I love doing paintings with watercolors and fun colors, so I really enjoyed doing this project. This project was made with watercolor paints. I thought that this piece was difficult to get every color right and in the right space without going outside of the lines in a very dramatic, unrealistic way.

Purple Cow

This is a project that is showing a phrase being taken into literal terms. "Purple Cow" is an ice cream flavor, and here, I put a purple-colored cow inside of an ice cream cup. This project shows color and shape through the cow itself and the color of the cow, as well as the color of the whole piece. This project shows my strengths in creativity, and there is nothing that I would like to change in this piece. I had lots of fun doing this piece and hopefully will be able to do more digital art pieces again in the future. This project was made as a digital art piece. I thought that this project was difficult to get just right, and it was done almost completely on my own.

A Bundle Of Joy

This project is about a phrase being taken into literal terms. People refer to a baby as a "bundle of joy," so I took a picture of a wrapped-up baby and turned it into literally, a bundle of joy. This picture shows point with the bird, shape through all of the different fonts of the word, "joy," and a soft color throughout the whole piece to make it seem younger. This piece shows my strengths in creativity, and there is nothing that I would like to change about this piece. I had lots of fun doing this project, and hopefully, I will be able to do more digital art pieces in the future. This project was made as a digital art piece. I thought that this piece of artwork was fun, but it wasn't the most challenging project that I've ever done.
