During art this year, I am very excited to use what I know already to reach out into new areas of art that I may not be as familiar with than I am with others. The ways of working with art that most appeal to me is painting and clay. I really like paintings because they have so much emotion in them. They have the ability to make a sad, depressing scene into a happy one, or change the mood from a happy scene to a sadder scene. Mostly, these emotions can be made by using shapes and colors, but without using paints, it's just not the same. Markers and crayons have color, but paint makes the artwork some much more alive. Clay also brings things to life in a 3D way, and I find looking at clay sculptures very interesting.
This year, I think that my colorful and detailed paintings and my very fragile clay sculptures will be most valuable to me this year. This year, my first piece of artwork will be a very detailed painting of a city with a hint of cartoon in the picture. I know that this will be a good project because this is not something that I have ever done before, and it will be something fun to play with.This year in art, I hope to make many successful pieces of artwork and make it a successful year.
